Bostanlı Footbridge Wins East Centric Arhitext Award!

Great news!

'Bostanlı Footbridge & Sunset Lounge' has been awarded at the 'East Centric Arhitext Awards 2019', an awards programme which was organized parallel with the 'Bucharest Triennale for East Centric Architecture 2019'.

The project has been awarded at the 'Exterior Design' category following the live presentation on the 19th of October at UAUIM (Ion Mincu University of Architecture and Urbanism). Other winners on all categories are as follows:

Installations:

Parasite Studio / 'Timișoara 2021' - Romania

Hasan Cenk Dereli / 'Forced Migration' - Turkey (Special Prize of the ARHITEXT Review)

Residential Buildings:

Plural / 'House in a House' - Slovakia

Public Buildings:

BBGK Architekci / 'Katyn Museum' - Poland

Kraus Schönberg Architects / 'Kinderkreisel Hamburg' - Germany

Regeneration:

Tabanlıoğlu Architects / 'Beyazıt Public Library' - Turkey

Interior Design:

Ruetemple / 'Family House' - Russia

Exterior Design:

Enota / 'Koper Central Park' - Slovenia

Studio Evren Başbuğ / 'Bostanlı Footbridge & Sunset Lounge' - Turkey

The 3rd edition of the Bucharest Triennale for East Centric Architecture took place in October, 7th - 20th, 2019. The Triennale was organised by the Arhitext Design Foundation, editor of the Arhitext magazine, in partnership with the Romanian Order of Architects, the Ion Mincu University of Architecture and Urbanism, the Union of Romanian Architects and the Brâncovan Palaces Cultural Center of Mogoșoaia. The main topic of this edition, HOME|any|more|?, proposed an interrogative approach of the possibility of being at home in today’s world.
